At 5:22 pm PST yesterday, 6,000 fans had “liked” the Through a Dog’s Ear facebook page. I’m honored and delighted, apparently Sanchez is too!
Facebook has been a way of connecting with real Dog lovers interested in improving the lives of their dogs and others. I love connecting with them directly, hearing their feedback, and learning from them as well. Discussions can include non-pharmaceutical remedies for canine anxiety issues, helpful tips on seeking pet health insurance, humorous comments on feeding pills to dogs, etc. And, I’ve been known to post some pretty cute pictures and videos of Sanchez and Gina. And in many cases, I’ve met up with Facebook fans in real life too…. most recently at Barkworld in Atlanta.
I shared some of my favorite Facebook stories posted by fans when we reached our first 5,000 fans. Here are some of my favorites that have been posted as we climbed towards 6,000 fans:
“I am sharing a picture of one of my greyhounds on Through a Dog’s Ear. This is Craigie. DeeDee already went to bed. My hounds love the beautiful music. When it’s time to settle down, when it storms, when there are fireworks, my CD player has 9 Through a Dog’s Ears CDs stacked and ready. They put the mama to sleep too. This house loves the music! Thanks, Lisa!” Nancy W.
“Leo and Tucker are relaxing together as they listen to their Through a Dog’s Ear CD.” Heather B.
“Here’s how Han and Olive listen to Through a Dog’s Ear. Well, technically only Olive listens, Han is deaf. He must take the cue to be calm from the girls though, whenever the music is on the house is relaxed ” Andrea M.
